About Us

DL Mechanical have our own in-house fabrication facility, specialising in both mild and stainless steel pipework using MMA, TIG, MIG and orbital welding processes.

All of these processes can be carried out on site to accommodate our client’s requirements.

We carry our own welding procedures, our welders being class 1 & 2. Specific welder qualifications can be arranged as required as well as non-destructive testing (NDT) on site and in our facility.

We employ fully qualified pipe fitters, plumbers, welders and gas engineers, all of whom are CSCS affiliated.

We undertake one-off in house fabrications to full on-site installations.

David has over 30 years experience in the field of commercial and industrial pipework. He initially trained as a Class I welder in the late 1980’s, cutting his teeth on oil rigs in Holland, Sizewell B power station and many projects throughout the Uk before setting up DL Mechanical in November 2005. His approach is to be inclusive throughout the company, share ideas, keep an open door and ensure that quality is the highest it can be.

Contract Manager

Terry has been in the Construction Industry for more than 25 years. Trained as a pipe fitter welder, Terry progressed into a supervisory role and then into contract management and is conversant with all areas of the construction industry. Terry has worked for several large organisations, looking to progress his skill set, and is with us at DL enjoying the challenges which come with a progressive company. A key figure in the management team.

Accounts Administrator. Bev has nearly 30 years in accounting, starting as office junior she has constantly trained to advance her skill set and is now an extremely proficient administrator with a very varied skill set. Another key member of the DL office team.

Finance Office Manager

Helen has over 20 years experience in finance. Trained as a treasury accountant, Helen has progressed through many areas of finance and affirmed herself as an excellent office manager, taking control of all the day to day workings and finances within our business. An essential member of the office team.

SITE TEAMS

DL has an excellent and envied site team. Foremen, fitters, welders, plumbers and apprentices, all key figures with high skill sets and excellent work ethics. Each and every one of our engineers and apprentices plays a key role in the success of DL Mechanical.
